Question about opening links (https://ref.ly/…) to the web app

How do we configure links we copy from the Logos Application (https://ref.ly/…) to open directly to the web app from a browser window? When I paste the link in the browser, it seems to open there, but then redirects to the Desktop App. Is that the normal behavior?

ref.ly links are successfully opening directly to the web app from a browser window in my Windows Desktop using the Chrome browser. I'm curious as to why this is working differently in your case.

Using MacOS Desktop w/ Safari Browser.
First time trying to use the web app from "shortcuts" and noticed a message from Safari prompting to allow https://app.logos.com to open logosres links… I probably checked that box when using Safari earlier… I just tried Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. Each of those browsers also prompts to choose application for opening logosres links… Back to how it's working now with Safari, from bookmarks/shortcuts from browser it opens Desktop app okay, but leaves an "blank" browser tab open for each shortcut I open… Not sure if this is normal behavior.

I would think that if you check the box, it would open in Safari. Is it possible you selected the Logos desktop app as the application to open the links instead of Safari? I have no experience with Safari or MacOS, so it's hard for me to help.

Right. Don't know how to uncheck the box now…I'll have to look at it more later. For now, bookmarks in Safari at least open the Desktop App, which is kind of useful.
