Increase the number of panels (more than 4) that can be included in a layout; e.g., 6 or 8.
What platform. On the desktop I've not run into a limit - and I commonly use 10
@K. Dirk Berard - are you speaking of the default set of Layouts that you can see when you click the Layout Icon?
If so, as @MJ. Smith mentioned, I've also never run into a limit - my current opened Layout runs between 15 and 20 depending on what I keep open.
In case you're not aware - you're not limited to those default layout setups on the Desktop App - you can create your own by opening whatever resources that you would like to be a part of the Layout and adjusting the size (both width and height) of each tab to your liking.
I think he might be referring to the app.logos.com which has a 4 limit?
Thanks; all of your responses are helpful.
I think something that would help layouts entirely is to be able to have multiple instances of Logos running at the same time. For people with multiple monitors… having multiple instances of Logos ability would be a great blessing.
And "open to full screen" is not the same as "multiple instances of Logos". With "multiple instances" you get the full power of the Logos program "multiple times". Many programs allow this now…. I hope Logos will soooon! 😎
You can run two versions parallel - one Logos, one Verbum. However, as they use separate library instances so unless you have a small library, it becomes a resource hog.
The way that original languages are set up currently is if one wants to see the meaning of the word, you have to press and hold to reveal the gloss. To highlight or select a word, the same action of pressing and holding is applicable. This is very disturbing (and tends to be very buggy after a while) when reading extensive…
The zoom level I use for my monitor and the one I use for printing should be independant. With larger monitors, zooming to 140% or higher is becoming normal. But when printing we normally just want to have the 100% size, or maybe even smaller.
Topic: Enhanced Collection Navigation and Search Functionality Suggestion: I would like to request the addition of a dedicated “Purchased Collections” tab in Logos Bible Software, with enhanced browsing and search functionality for better resource organization and usability. 1. Feature Overview: Introduce a separate…
I wish you would include this in your library options. I had this option in your previous version of WordSearch and found it much more useful than the tools available to me in your current version of Logos. This is a simple, but quick way to access info I'm looking for without navigation through several screens and getting…
Currently when you open a passage list, you're only allowed to use one translation for the entire list. I'd like the option to choose different translations for different passages in a single list seeing as sometimes our favorite passages are not always from the same translation because of the wording or the manuscript base
