Increase the number of panels (more than 4) that can be included in a layout; e.g., 6 or 8.
What platform. On the desktop I've not run into a limit - and I commonly use 10
@K. Dirk Berard - are you speaking of the default set of Layouts that you can see when you click the Layout Icon?
If so, as @MJ. Smith mentioned, I've also never run into a limit - my current opened Layout runs between 15 and 20 depending on what I keep open.
In case you're not aware - you're not limited to those default layout setups on the Desktop App - you can create your own by opening whatever resources that you would like to be a part of the Layout and adjusting the size (both width and height) of each tab to your liking.
I think he might be referring to the app.logos.com which has a 4 limit?
Thanks; all of your responses are helpful.
I think something that would help layouts entirely is to be able to have multiple instances of Logos running at the same time. For people with multiple monitors… having multiple instances of Logos ability would be a great blessing.
And "open to full screen" is not the same as "multiple instances of Logos". With "multiple instances" you get the full power of the Logos program "multiple times". Many programs allow this now…. I hope Logos will soooon! 😎
You can run two versions parallel - one Logos, one Verbum. However, as they use separate library instances so unless you have a small library, it becomes a resource hog.
I have 30 open resources, I want to "Link Set" all to "A" but I cannot do that all at once. I can do the opposit and click "Clear All" to release all the "Link Sets." I would like to be able to select multiple tabs to do 2 things: 1. Link Set a cluster of books. 2. To be able to move a group of books top a new window.…
When exporting multiple highlights / notes (if individual, I could just copy from the book) from the Notes Tool, I would like for the export to include the reference or citation (even better if this was just an "option" that way if people don't actually want it that way they can toggle it on / off). I noticed this on the…
Please allow us to create and edit basic tables in Notes.
I just got a marketing email soliciting my pre-order for David Garland's BECNT volume on 1 Corinthians. The link in the email is busted, but it was a simple look-up to confirm I had already pre-ordered this book. I don't mind getting two or three marketing emails a day from Logos. But it would be nice if I were spared ads…
Ability to link more panels in the mobile app.
