Does Logos have the Samaritan Torah?

I am looking for the actual text of the Samaritan Torah. I found a product called the Samaritan Version of the Torah (which I will link), and the book itself looks interesting.

However, it is just a translation and I am looking for the actual text in Samaritan script so I don't need to be dependent on a translation. Does Logos have such a product?

I'm pretty sure Logos doesn't have the Samaritan Pentateuch, especially if you're looking for it with Samaritan script. Even Accordance doesn't have that, although there are Samaritan script fonts available (which is cool).

Thank you for the link. Tbh, Logos said I own this, but I had overlooked it since I thought it was a translation of it in German. Thanks for the link and screenshots. I agree with Mark that it is great that it works with text compare.

Ya, you are right that I was looking for the actual script. There are certain specific things I am looking for which sometimes get washed out in the normal Hebrew text. The Hebrew translation of it is nonetheless helpful though, so I am grateful Brain clarified it wasn't just a German translation.

Regarding downloading scripts, ya, I agree some of that stuff is kind of interesting to look at. :) I have never done that though as it is more for artistic reasons and I want it for academic reasons.

In Accordance if I had a resource like this open and went to the add parallel function, Accordance would sort of recommend obvious things to open. For example, if you have a Church Father in English open, it will recommend the Greek or Latin translation of that text, etc.

While I have figured out how to add a parallel, it seems like it is entirely up to me to remember what I might want to also open. For example, in this instance, I would just need to know there is an apparatus, remember what it is called, search for it in the parallel list, and then open it. Is that correct?

Someone who is more familiar with Logos than I am will need to answer that question. I don't have the Samaritan Pentateuch, but if there's an apparatus, I would think there would be sigla in the text that will link to the apparatus.

If you have a resource open, you can go to View—>Add Parallel Text and the resources that can align with what you have open should appear.

ps - one other question….

In Accordance if I open something, say text A, and then I open B and C in parallel, I can flip the texts however I want. I can line them up as ABC, BAC, CBA or whatever. However, in Logos I seem to be able to flip B and C, but A always needs to stay on the left position. Is this actually the case?

Well! They fixed it! The fonts are back to 'hebrew' size, and the textual differences are working too. Yes!

Yes, that's what's supposed to happen. And it does happen when I'm adding a post in the Feedback section of the forums. But it never works for me in this section of the forums. I don't have any popup blockers, and it doesn't work for me in Safari or in Chrome. And I've tried it about 5-6 times at least.
