Can we please separate notes and highlights

I think this proposal would go a long way towards providing some welcome ease of use.

I suggest that people reframe the question as "I want my visual notes and my textual notes permanently separated. I don't want that separation to require any advanced knowledge on my part - I want it to "just work". I believe that those who wish to mingle visual notes and textual notes should have to do so explicitly. Therefore, please create a default notebook simply for the default of visual notes and require any other destination to be explicitly chosen - in the palette, right context menu …"
THis is a good reframing. I appreciate all the help this thread has given to me, but honestly, I have not had the time to figure out the so called work around. I have tens of thousands of highlights most likely mixed in with my notes. It is not possible to separate them at this point. If I can figure out the work around, I will start doing that. But I am slow with understanding this and dont have that much time.
I am not trying to stir the pot. I think MJ's reframing is correct. In a world of AI, I assume that eventually, this may be possible.
Ultimately, I want the ability to make a pdf of all my notes in order of Scripture. This is for several reasons, the biggest being to make sure I have my personal study notes available to me outside Logos in case Logos one day disappears or I stop subscribing.

Of course, do whatever you want with your notes, but they will not disappear if we stop subscribing. Now, if Logos disappears one day ….

Of course it will disappear one day. Before I die, I want my notes out of the program and in a document my children can have.

I was about to ask for the separation. My problem is that some resources come with notes. Probably linking to courses. My books are horribly 'yellow' covered with notes that I can't disable without disabling highlights. Had to find notes and delete them.
I'm just asking for the separation of the function to show notes and highlights, not to change other functionalities. It would help a lot.

@Mateus de Castro I agree!
