Why does a simple search "person:Jesus INTERSECTS marveled" not work properly?

I know that the lack of faith among those of Christ's hometown and the greater faith in the centurion than Jesus had witnessed in all Israel are both occasions when Jesus (subject) marveled (verb). Why does the simple search "person:Jesus INTERSECTS marveled" repeatedly offer only one result (Mark 6:6), when I know that this subject-verb tandem also occurs in Matthew 8:10 and Luke 7:9? I'm searching on the NKJV, which uses the word as included in the search. But the latter two occasions fail to show in the results. Am I misunderstanding how this search works?

Sorry for missing the version - here is the search you want

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I need to know what Bible you are searching. In the LEB Luke 7:9 is the only one of the 3 you list that uses the word "marvel". Next, using INTERSECTS implies that occupy the same physical location in a sentence; as both items are simple single words, that's not going to happen.

person:Jesus NEAR marvel will work as you are expecting as would person:Jesus AND marvel although both may pick up some extraneous results.

To get what you really want, the subject-verb relationship you need to use a clause search but I ran into a possible bug trying to document

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Hi. Thanks for the note. As I mentioned in my post, I’m searching the NKJV, and it uses the English word “marveled” in all three passages.
