Selecting a Single Parallel Resource from a Collection

When going into a resource, especially commentaries and those you have collections for, can we make it so we can select a single resource from within a collection to view in parallel view with the original resource?

Currently, it only lets me select the collection, and then it tries to create a separate view within that panel of every resource in the collection when I only want one. I know that I could just search for the resource I want; however, I don't have the time, energy, or ability to memorize each book and commentary I own. Hence, the reason I made collections. Please bring this feature back.

From discussion in another thread, I believe what is being requested is that in a multi-view pane, one can choose a collection then select a particular volume from that collection to be used in the multi-view pane. This essentially allows collections to serve as a pick list reminding you of your personal favorites/most-useful resources in your library.

This would be a welcome feature. Currently, the only way to accomplish this is with a custom passage guide.
