Bug: Reading progress on app doesn't register on desktop

I'm not sure when this bug was introduced, but both the Logos and Faithlife apps no longer sync my reading progress to the desktop app.
Example: I'm currently reading "Reading Scripture with the Reformers" on the faithlife app (Android) and I'm well into it, but the desktop library (see image) doesn't register that I've even opened the book.
Any ideas on why this is happening or if there's a fix in the works?

Yes, I'm having the same issues. Driving me a bit nuts!

I opened a book on the Faithlife app (v39.1, Android) and scrolled to a random article. It opened to the exact location on Desktop Logos 39.1 within minutes. But it did have a visible Reading Status in Library
When I chose a book w/out a visible Reading Status on Desktop, it still opened to the same location as on Android w/out a change of Status i.e. Unread. But it changed to a "New"/"Reading" Status shortly after.

It's been like this for a long time. I've come to ignore it as a feature.

Right. Yes. That works for me too. But it doesn't show the reading progress I've made in the app. And if I don't open the book, it doesn't even show any green circle at all. In other words, it's only registering on the desktop that I've opened it because I've opened it on the desktop it seems. It has no idea I've been reading it on the app.
For me, reading progress is an essential feature of a digital book. I've poured thousands into Logos, but I really need to be able to see my reading progress as I read the book somewhere (ideally, easily, like in other digital reader apps). And they've scrubbed this feature from everywhere I can find if I read on the Android app. So this bug is a big deal for me. It would be the only place I could get this data. Anywhere on the platform.

@Sean It wasn't such a big deal until they scrubbed every other way of seeing your reading progress from the Android app. Now this bug is blocking the solitary place I can see reading progress from my app…

I have found location sync to Desktop is not consistent as I tried with a "well read" book that had 51% "Read" on its Info page. And it is still at 51% despite eventually acknowledging several chapter moves on Mobile. Oops, it just moved to 52%.
However, I'm sure I have read more than 70% on Mobile.
As to trusting anything, I'd rather know that my location is sync'd and I can continue to read on another device.
