Hi,
I read that translation is deducted from my AI credits. But the translation feature has been there for years and is using DeepL to translate. Has something changed? Or is DeepL now using AI credits..?
thanks in advance
There was a credit system in place for translation even in Logos 10, there just wasn't any place where you could see your credits. Logos does have running costs for translation by DeepL and Google.

I dont understand why DeepL should use credits, because it is just an online translation tool that had been in Logos for a couple of years now.
DeepL is a specific form of AI that has been available for longer than the LLM/Chatbots that are all the rage.
Don't know about DeepL using or not using AI credits. Translate, in general, charges into the AI credits bank.
But I was surprised that DeepL (below) didn't recognize Japanese, even with hiragana on full display. Apparently, either Logos/Google set the guessed-language pretty early (the word 'Bible' can be Chinese or Japanese), or DeepL does the honors.
thanks for the reaction. In this article it states dthat DeepL uses credits if i understand I correctly: https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/23563051328269-How-do-AI-credits-work
When I use Study Assistant, the font size appears very small. Is there a way to increase the size of the font in Study Assistant desktop version? Thanks. 😎 Edit…. I found it. Opened my typing before my thinking… duh!! Thanks.
Hey everyone! Every time I open up my ESV in Logos, it opens to a parallel (two-column) view. Why? Can I have it always open ONLY in a single column regular view? Thanks in advance. I appreciate any comments. 🙂
When attempting to add a book request post in the appropriate forum, I am getting a non-descript error message stating, "Error: post could not be created" and "Validation failed". Does anyone know the cause? It would definitely be helpful if the error message explained why the validation failed. ;)
I see in the Pre-Black Friday Sale the 3 latest titles of the Reformation Commentary on Scripture are not on sale. Were they just missed? Hello, I'm a new Logos user, switching from E-Sword after 20 years. I'm thrilled with Logos so far, though I've had some stability issues (some reported, some not). Anyway … I've been converting a lot of my ebooks over to DOCX (using Calibre) so I can import them as Personal Books in Logos. Some of what I'm doing feels…
