Logos Hymnal Media Resource
Please add the ability to stop the MIDI without having to close the window pane. If the ability is there it sure isn't noticeable. Thanks!

The control is at the top right of the main window next to the Layouts menu. You can pause and stop.

Thanks Todd. I am glad the feature is there....but definitely, not noticeable. I would have expect that it reside in its own window pane. Now that I know, however, it works for me.

I have a bug that the left arrow (previous page) button pops up when I'm over the left part of text description box in the Logos Hymnal Media Resource. Keeps me from clicking on the "MIDI" link if I'm over the "MID" in MIDI.

Hi Todd,
First, I have that same bug. I tried clicking MIDI and it went to the next hymn.
Second, I still don't have anything playing. It could be just me though since I only installed XP to run Logos on my Mac. I run nothing else, so I may not even have the right MIDI tools.

Yeah, if you click on the last "I" in MIDI, you can get the MIDI to play. Or you can change the shape of the window so the text box moves to the right of the graphic.

You should check your Sounds and Audio Devices control panel in Windows. There's a Audio tab that has the MIDI Playback Device setting on it. You may not have that capability, or it may require something special to get it to work in Fusion.

FYI, the Logos Hymnal Media Resource is a different resource than the Logos Hymnal (though I'm sure they both use the same MIDI API):
The seem to use a completely different file though eg. Standing on the Promises in the old Logos Hymal runs for 2'39 while in the new medial resource it runs for 7'52...assuming it repeats enough times that you can sing along all verses of the song if you know them.
