Logos carries a lot of his books, but I was surprised to see John Sailhamer (JETS 44) use Hengstenberg's work on messianic prophecy so much.
Messianic prophecy is an important area of study, and honest I think we need more books on it.
As I see it, it can be pre-ordered https://www.logos.com/product/39375/classic-studies-on-old-testament-theology
It is one of several book sets in that package.
It is almost funded, we should encourage some more of us to pre-order.
YES, BUT
Logos used to have community pricing for a lot of bundles of older books. They used to tell you who the authors were for each book. Now they just give you a list of titles with no names attached. How did you know that was Hengstenberg in that set? Logos gave up on community pricing, and now they left them all out to die by not supporting the books again.
Manually quoted: "How did you know that was Hengstenberg in that set?"
That's what I remember from years ago. My memory is not terribly good, anyway.
It is also available in the Logos FILES forum, and possibly also as a pdf somewhere in the net.
It’s Hengstenberg because this set has been up for preorder for a very long time and I remember he was the author of the Christology volumes when I first put in my order.
yes, and nobody now who sees the set will know it, because Logos no longer provides any information on any of the books except for the title. Who's going to dish out $200 for a bunch of books just based on the title. Logos gave up on community pricing, and they gave up on these too.
