Good morning one and all!
How do I search for words in common between Paul and James in NA28?
Thank you,
Mark A. Ellis
I get 32 parings with Smart Bible Search in NA28, sometimes there are two passages from Paul paired with one from James.
What version of Logos? Do you have Smart Bible Search, which requires a subscription.
I did a Smart Bible Search in NA28 for "words common between Paul and James"
Logos 40.1 with Max subscription yielded reasonable results, although of limited value. The first results were Romans 2:13 and James 1:22-23. In all there are 8 pairs of verses.
Hi, Jack. Thank you for your quick response! I am using Logos 40.1.10. My first Logos purchase was when it was still CDWord, via Dallas Seminary. "I don't leave home without it." 😁 Mark
My experience with Logos only goes back to Libronix, which required me to trick my Mac into thinking it was Windows.
Was my response helpful? I first tried your question by searching NASB. That was a mess!
I believe you should use the word list feature. You would need to create one for the letters of Paul and then for the book of James. And then merge the two lists together using them words common in each list.
I wrote this from memory. I am away from my computer right now.
Hope this helps.

I would like to add a note (not an entire notebook) to a favorites folder. I can add a notebook to favorites by clicking the star icon but I just want a specific note within that notebook, not the whole notebook. Is there a way to do that?
I have 6,480 notebooks (the reason isn’t relevant). a) When I open a resource with Notes turned off, it loads at normal speed. b) However, when I attempt to change the resource Notes —or after the change—the loading slows down significantly, even though no notebooks are selected. (slow as in 1 minute or even longer) c) It…
What map book shows all the New Testament places quickly and easily? Syrian Phoenicia was hard to find. As was Magadan.
I am working on something complicated, so I decided to create a temporary layout since it was getting so crunched working with only one layout open. However, when I did so, I accidentally clicked "update active." 😧 Is there any way to undo that?
