Where is local data store (for media) ?

I can't seem to find where Proclaim stores any data on MacOS - We bought a Mac Mini M4 but it only has 256GB of storage and wanted to add an external SSD for the large amount of media files or AV team uses for slides, presentations, etc. Any help appreciated.

    The article here includes information about where Proclaim stores files on Mac - does this give you what you need?

    But I'm not sure how you would go about changing that location.

    One idea is changing the mac user home directory location to an external SSD (as all the Proclaim folder locations are in the user's home directory).

    Internet search suggestion ⇒ move mac user folder to external drive
