I downloaded An Introduction to Philosophy: A Christian Guide to the Things that Really Matter, on the 18th. Amazon made it available at the same time. The Logos version does not include page numbers. The print version does.
I will never write an academic paper. But I use page numbers constantly.
I provide a Handout to my adult Bible Study class weekly. In addition to "Scripture that Explains Scripture" (page nos. not required), I also include quotes from Commentaries, Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, Monographs and other written material which, in my opinion, need citation for further student study and a path back for me to answer questions.
Additionally, I certainly appreciate page numbers when discussing resource material over the phone, or via email. I have used reading plans in the past that are page number dependent. I just like page numbers as a benchmark of progress when reading challenging material!
I hope Logos doesn't delay adding page numbers to rush to market to meet/beat competition. Personally, I feel we need/deserve the whole package!
