Just an example of translation out of context for "Speculative or Practical?" translated to "投机还是实用?" in the Title of the Article and translated as "推测性的还是实践性的?" in the text of the 1st paragraph. As shown below:
Speculative or Practical?
The question is an old one but surprisingly relevant: Is theology chiefly speculative or practical? From our vantage point, the answer seems obvious. Surely theology must be practical. It must result in faith and obedience. It must bear fruit. The great danger, we are apt to think, is that too much of our theological discourse has become hopelessly theoretical and needlessly esoteric, good for nothing but puffing up small-hearted people with big brains.

To me it is a major downside of using Logos on iPad that my highlights are not synced across my different bibles. If I do a highlight in ESV, I can't get it to show up in my Greek bible, etc. iPads these days are more than powerful enough to handle a feature like this. Please enable it for iPads! It's one of the biggest…
eFor context, see the thread here: As I read through the Bible in Greek, I would like to prepare to read a chapter by reviewing the rare words in that chapter before I read it. I would like a list of the words in that chapter, sorted by frequency in the entire New Testament. Unfortunately, there is no way to do that…
Hi, I have just learned that the new version 40 of Logos now includes the verse address after the verse. In all previous versions the verse has been at the beginning of the verse. I cut and paste extensively for writing projects and this new change is creating much more work for me. Is it possible to add an option to…
I get clippings was designed for logos books. However, having a large print book collection, it would be nice to add quotes from my print books to my clippings files to use later in the same way as the others. Also would love to hear other work arounds for this.
I'm sure this topic has been raised before, but I can't find it. I'm about to pull the trigger on the NIV Application Collection, however I'm experiencing feelings of hesitancy as one of the two resources I will gain is not available yet, but is promised prompt download once it is ready. Problem. I've been down this road…
