PowerPoint animations on foldback screen?

When I import a PowerPoint file with animations, (and use the "transfer control to PowerPoint" option), the animations show up correctly on the main screen, but the foldback or confidence monitor displays only the complete slide. As a presenter, I need to see the animations. Is there a setting to fix that, or a workaround?
