Dear Folk,
Is there a way, once you've downloaded a resource linked with your subscription, to tell if it is one you own permanently, or will be removed if you quit your subscription?
Thanks,
Mike
When I subscribed, I didn't tag the resources. Now I'm not sure which are temporary. Besides, to do that for all the subscribed only resources would take a long, tedious time. Should I suggest Logos to add a "subscribed resource" column in the library or info to that end in the info button?
Sorry for the confusion. Mr Smith's first post gives the answer. Filter library by license, and there is a choice for temporary. That shows all temporary subscription resources. I misunderstood his answer, thinking he meant it would not show anything until the subscription ran out. Sorry.
In the library look at the license column. If it is temporary, the resource will disappear with your subscription. There is a caveat for SIL resources.
Is there a way before the subscription expires to know if it is one that will expire if a subscription is dropped.
If I'm heavily using certain resources, I want to know that I will miss them if I decide to unsubscribe.
What are "SIL resources?"
You can use the tags in the library to keep track of all license:temp books where you got them from. if you Tag the subscription books, you can search for something like "mytag:myLogosMax" and see them.
@Michael A. Mnich Mr Smith's first post gives the answer
M J Smith is actually a lady 😋
Sorry again!
OK, I have thought for awhile that the new Discover lens and the 'Store' icon were not working properly in Verbum/Mac - new features in 45.0. I can't get either to show up! But now I have narrowed this down to show that something is broken only on the Verbum/Mac app (don't know about Verbum/Windows) and app.verbum.com So…
My Birthday code is not working.
Hi all, I know a resource like cascadia will give (for the NT) all occurrences of a noun as a subject or object and the associated verbs with it. Is there some way in Logos to do the same thing in the LXX? For example, if I were to look for all the occurences of the word, ναος, I would like logos to give me all the verbs…
Can someone help? How do I download the books I bought from Logos, so that I can use it offline?
I really like the new indicators that Bible Study Builder now adds, and I see the potential of the Builder. But my difficulty in the Builder is the tool that the questions uses to add an answer. for me it lacks the notes tool. As for me the questions leads to a study and a gathering of information. Now the current way is…
