Dear Folk,
Is there a way, once you've downloaded a resource linked with your subscription, to tell if it is one you own permanently, or will be removed if you quit your subscription?
Thanks,
Mike
When I subscribed, I didn't tag the resources. Now I'm not sure which are temporary. Besides, to do that for all the subscribed only resources would take a long, tedious time. Should I suggest Logos to add a "subscribed resource" column in the library or info to that end in the info button?
Sorry for the confusion. Mr Smith's first post gives the answer. Filter library by license, and there is a choice for temporary. That shows all temporary subscription resources. I misunderstood his answer, thinking he meant it would not show anything until the subscription ran out. Sorry.
In the library look at the license column. If it is temporary, the resource will disappear with your subscription. There is a caveat for SIL resources.
Is there a way before the subscription expires to know if it is one that will expire if a subscription is dropped.
If I'm heavily using certain resources, I want to know that I will miss them if I decide to unsubscribe.
What are "SIL resources?"
You can use the tags in the library to keep track of all license:temp books where you got them from. if you Tag the subscription books, you can search for something like "mytag:myLogosMax" and see them.
@Michael A. Mnich Mr Smith's first post gives the answer
M J Smith is actually a lady 😋
Sorry again!
Hello, I am running a morph search on Ἰσραήλ in the LXX for collocates four words before and after every occurrence of Ἰσραήλ. The problem I encounter is that Logos will only present and export the first 10,000 results out of the 24,000+ total. The same happens for other morph searches in other resources, Ἰσραήλ in the LXX…
Dear Folk, What are your favorite Revelation commentaries, and why? Thanks, Mike
I used to be able to select a portion of text, go to the book menu (three dots) and copy the location in L4 format. When I clicked that link, it would bring me to the exact quote again. Now when I do that, I only get "copy location" and it only brings me to the top of that paragraph. Honestly I'm devastated to lose this…
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong. I want the "landing page" to update to the correct day of the month. I click on the "landing page" image in the top left (just under that Logos icon) but it doesn't update to the correct date. The only way I can get it to do so is to close the program and restart it. Suggestions?
I've downloaded the app installer and run the installer. But when I run the Logos Bible Study app it asks me to sign using your Logos account. I click the sign in button and get a something went wrong message. There is a proxy with three sections I can fill in. But what should go in these boxes, please? See I have a new…
