Dynamic Reading Plans

I’d love to see support for dynamic reading plans in the app. Right now, if my reading schedule changes—whether I fall behind or need to shift the timeline—the only options are to manually adjust the dates, which resets the plan completely.

The “Catch Up to Here” feature marks all previous readings as complete, which isn’t particularly useful if those readings were actually missed. The “Adjust Date” option simply pushes the plan forward and recalculates the end date, but it doesn’t account for current progress or provide real adaptability.

What would be incredibly helpful is a plan type where the user sets a fixed end date, but no start date. Then, each time the user opens the plan, the app dynamically calculates the remaining time and assigns readings accordingly based on what’s already been completed. For example: “I want to finish reading the Bible by December 31.” No matter when I open the app, it determines how much is left and divides it across the remaining days.

This would significantly improve usability for readers whose schedules aren’t always predictable, and it could set your app apart with a much more flexible and user-friendly experience.
