That is sad as they are the best introduction to the desert fathers & mothers literature I've ever read. Thanks for trying. If I didn't already own them, I'd be scouring the used book stores.

The NA29 and UBS6 will be coming out later this year. Houghton has updated Metzger's (and Omanson's) textual commentaries to match the UBS6 apparatus.
