I am creating a parallel passages resource for narrative passages in the Bible. The data is comprised of tables with 2 to 8 columns defined as 11 inches wide because the PB was assigning very narrow columns when there was no need for it. However, at 11 inches, the compiler decides to make the resource two columns (or more) when it deems there is room rather than continuing to expand the column width as desired. Example - two rows appear strangely as the format flips to two column paged from scrolling …

What is required to make a wide book remain wide rather than flip-flop between readable and absurdity? the .docx file is defined as landscape … as concept that the PB compiler seems to ignore as the maximim table width appears to be 8ish inches even when defined as 11.
