Add the ability to toggle "Known Tags Only" mode

Once I have most of my tags in place, I generally don't want to be randomly creating new tags anymore without being very intentional about it. It would be great if we could enable a "Known Tags Only" mode, so that I could type partial matches for tags (even in the middle of the tag name) that would narrow the scope to tags it knows about and won't auto-create any others.

    Fully agreed @Sean T.

Additionally, if it were possible for LOGOS to also show bookwise, (meaning when a particular book is opened) ONLY pone's own ersonal highlights created, AND also show 'popular highlights too … WITHOUT having to scroll all the way through a book that has been tagged, AND if hit were possible to see these separately by … say by using arrow keys, for example, … once the Notes filter is turned on, then this would be a greatly useful feature. It wouldbe of benefit for future Quick Looks of created 'Key points' of a book, summary preps., important references, looking up great quotes of a book, noting occurrences and locations of 'key themes', making further additional annotations, review of important citations and created cross-references, notes, etc.

    Blessings,

    In Christ Jesus,

Perhaps you might consider the above?

I don't understand this suggestion (no offense). Not sure which tags you describe, but library tags (for me) always pull up my earlier tags, with a few intro-letters. Quick.

Thank you, but no need to tag individual staff members in product suggestions or book requests. Enjoy your studies!

I'm talking about tag assignment (like when you go to the Info side of a resource).

Yep … that's where I often tag … typing a few letters brings up the full tag. Or you see different?

I can misspell or hit space too soon, and I'll end up with a new tag. This suggestion would prevent those occurrences. The tag dropdown can be fairly slow, too, but it's filled with suggestions I've never tagged.

With this change, the dropdown would likely render faster, and partial matches could extend across the entire tag.

For instance, I could type "hist", and get matches on history and biblical-history. That's not currently possible at all.

Well, I'm not disagreeing; just understanding. I definitely agree the library doesn't handle non-alpha well. And it collects bad spellings.
