beta 6 text Comparison Tool (suggestion)
hi everybody
the text Comparison Tool is there a way to make this tool to open up in a window automatically ?
every time I want to compare Bible text this tool always displays in a very narrow strip
the only way I can see to make this into a larger window is to drag the text Comparison tab over onto the desktop then it opens up into a larger window
I have to do this every time I use this tool
I could make a default layout but this type of tool I use randomly, I don't want to display it all the time

Hover over a verse, or highlight a couple of verses. Then press Alt + ` (the key above the TAB key and below the ESC key on most keyboards) It sounds like this is what you are looking for.

To the left of the number "1" on a standard US English keyboard is usually a special key with a "`" [reverse accent] and a "~" [tilde] (You get the tilde by pressing the Shift key and the reverse accent key). The shortcut is ALT and that reverse accent key at the same time (do not press the "+" key for this shortcut).
I know that little accent ` is hard to see, and easy to miss. Hope this make sense.

This is such a great feature, why is it so hidden? Why not put it under the Reference section under the right click menu? call it, display Text Comparison PopUp.

hi
eventually I got to working thank you for your help ,I had to change the keyboard driver to English (United States)
I totally agree , these type of features need to be made more accessible, it would be good to have a link somewhere on the toolbar which would show
a window with these type of shortcut commands,
sort of a instant help instead of searching through the help files
I don`t know how a new user would start to find stuff like this, the way I was using the text Comparison Tool made it very difficult for me
this short cut hot key has made an amazing difference on using this tool,
