I would love to see Logos add a feature within Sermon Builder that allows others to give feedback directly inside the sermon draft without requiring those users to have Logos.
I preach almost every week and consistently seek feedback from 2–3 trusted people before finalizing my sermon. Currently, I have to export the sermon into Word (which can’t be done on iPad), send the file for comments, and then re-integrate those insights back into Logos. Any edits I make afterward inside Logos aren’t visible to my feedback team, and I risk losing track of helpful notes.
What I’m suggesting:
- A sharable feedback link generated from Sermon Builder
- Viewers can comment inline, suggest edits, or highlight areas—just like Google Docs or Microsoft Word.
- Ideally, no Logos account required to view and comment
- Bonus: optional toggle to make the link public, password-protected, or invite-only
I understand this would be a technical challenge, but the benefits are significant:
- Enhances collaborative sermon prep for pastors and ministry teams
- Keeps all work centralized in Logos
- Creates a natural showcase of Sermon Builder to non-users, many of whom would be pastors or ministry partners. Placing adds would be easy and effective.
- Potential for referral discounts: for example, both the sermon creator and feedback giver could receive a Logos credit or discount if the commenter signs up from a link inside the feedback screen.
This could be a big win for both users and marketing alike.
Thank you for considering it!
