Hi all!
When I takes Notes (Type="Notes"), I sometimes include a Tag and sometimes I don't. How do I identify all the Notes WITH at least one Tag. I tried mytag:"" in Search, but it didn't work.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
In the Filter sidebar within the Notes tool there is a Tags filter that I find useful. In addition, you can use mytag:* in the Docs search to identify all notes with at least one tag.
The Tags filter is useful in a limited sense. It will only list the top 100 most frequent Tags, and I have way more than that.
Wasn't aware of this. Thx for the info.
Is it possible to identify Notes but those that DON'T have a Tag?
Instead of searching Your Docs, choose to only search Notes. Then try this search: * NOT mytag:*
Ignore the count, because this search will count every word in every untagged note. But it should identify the notes you're looking for.
Thanks a lot, Aaron.
As a follow up…
Thank you, Aaron.
The 100-tag limit was mention by Mark Barnes once. It used to be less and he asked his programmers to increase. My recollection may be bad and it may be more than 100, but the key is that there is a limit.
Thank you for the Search string: * NOT mytag:*
It works like a charm as far as I can see. Thank you
Hi Aaron!
Thanks again for the 2 solutions. They are working well for me.
If I may bother you again…Is it possible to identify Notes with just 1 Tag? The reason I am asking is that I've created lots of Notebooks over time (and way before I created the Notes). It is easy to shove Notes with just 1 Tag into one of my many Notebooks. If there are more than 1, I will need to split them by Topics and then shove them into corresponding Notebooks, which is much more work for me. I am trying to do the low-hanging fruit, which are the Notes with only 1 Tag. That is why I'm asking.
Thanks.
I have gone through and highlighted the book of 1 John. Is there a way to print it out showing ALL the highlighting features? When I tried, only the text I changed the color on showed, none of the highlight colors or boxes.
Is there an AI App applicable with Logos to analyse a large document and propose footnotes from my library, and/or the full logos liberary? Or does logos have such a feature within the software? Phil Wood
When making a visual filter and sharing it publicly, is it possible to do that anonymously, without identifying information like "created by: your name"?
New Logos user - just getting familiar with the application. So, forgive me if this is a basic question. Like most churches we post our services on social media. We have several ministers at our church who use Logos. With the advent of AI recording, transcription, and summary I am interested in loading sermons that were…
My ESV and ERV have somehow become so firmly linked that Passage Study is showing a column for each. I'm on a 13”Mac. Only want to show ESV. (Is this a "parallel resource "issue?) This is the kinda of thing that drives me nuts and blocks my study time. Thanks for help, Joyce
