How to Prioritize a Collection

Question

It's been a very long time since I've created a collection and tried to prioritize it. I did this with the CSC, and it shows up as a Collection. However, I cannot get it to prioritize. I opened the Collections window and clicked on the Open drop-down box. I found the Collection and dragged it to the Prioritize window of the Libary but when I let go nothing happens. It doesn't show up in the list of prioritized books.

Am I wrong in remembering that this used to be possible? Am I doing it wrong? If so, how do you do it properly?

Thanks. That’s quite unintuitive. But I knew it was possible.

It’s strange that you have to have the books listed in Detail view to drag them. I should be able to drag them in any list vote in library. That’s a dumb requirement that needs to change.

You cannot drag the collection from the Collections window.  Instead you need to drag any of the books in the collection from the right side of the Library window to the desired location in the Prioritize Books pane and then it should prioritize the series.  If you hold down the CTL button while clicking a book in the series and drag it to the Prioritize Books pane, it will prioritize just the one book.
