If I set the language to Syriac in the metadata it treats the English as if it should be written right to left. I can't find a way to define the language that avoids this mess. If I set the language to English, both languages work correctly … but the metadata is misleading. I think this is a bug, but if you can give me a procedure that gets me out of the mess …
