Observations of the Intro to Logos video

I tried Logos about 10 years ago and put it aside. A lot of youtubers are currently pushing Logos heavily so I thought I'd give it another shot. I am using the free version, basic library, version 42.0.407. I am on Windows 11.
The interface in the intro to Logos video looks like this:
My OOTB interface looks like:
Note that I don't have the bible version toggle, the menu, or the insights panel
I know I can add another bible using the multiple book view or create a new pane by dragging "bible" into the workspace, but how do I change the version of the pane I am currently reading?
At the 20 minute mark the instructor tells us to click on the insight button (which I don't have) to see resources related to the displayed verses. Where do I find those?
At the 25 minute mark we did a search for "love your neighbour". Zero results. Apparently this tool only performs exact matches, and the NIV is written in American English, so I have to search for "love your neighbor". I can use the "smart" search, where the results are AI generated, but the results are limited and not aggregated by book. They are a little more broad, though, with some interesting suggestions worth investigating. Is an international English version of the exact search in the works?
I'm going to keep watching the videos, but for a new user who can't follow along it gets a little frustrating.

Correct, many features will be hidden from non-subscribers. In addition, the toolbar for subscribers currently differs from the toolbar for non-subscribers. Logos has plans to migrate all users to the new toolbar, but this has not yet happened.

The new videos are based on the newest version of the software, which includes those tools you are missing. You can sign up here:

I am running the latest version of the software. It updated this morning.
Are you saying those tools are hidden from non-subscribers?

Yes. The resource toolbar and Insights require a subscription. Under the Tools menu (not in screenshot), Summarize and Translate also require a subscription (using AI credits)
Parallel Books icon // will give you another book/bible in the same panel (your Interface).
There are English GB Bibles like Revised English Bible, English Revised Version, Good News, KJV

I don't think this is unusual. Webinars and trainings have always been based on the latest feature set, which is now a subscription.

When users (me) are trialing (not subscribed to) a product it really helps if they can follow the tutorial.
If features are gated by a subscription then they can't actually trial or fairly assess the product. In all other aspect the speaker used free resources (except for the lemma pronunciation). The tutorial should start by saying, "to access these features you're going to need a subscription".
Of course, if the features are NOT gated and the features simply haven't rolled out to free users yet then it's simply bad timing that I watched the video now.
