Hi there,

I'm doing a research on Syriac verbal system. For my project I need to make two lists of Syriac verbs: 1. all the verbs that occur in Peal, Pael and Aphel stems, and 2. all the verbs that occur only in Pael and Aphel. Is there a way to do such a search in Smith's A Compendious Syriac Dictionary?

Don't know how complete, but you'd need to use the abbreviations, and parse the usage (meaning a straight search would pick up classing, but discussion as well).

Do you have Smith's?

Yes, I have Smith's dictionary in my Logos. I thought there might me a quick way of searching and exporting the results into a word document.

Spell Check
The check spelling when typing is on, but it does not work in notes in Mac. Is there something that I missed.
Does mixing protestant/catholic/orthodox libraries interfere with links in books?
I think I read something about buying Verbum or Orthodox libraries causing many of your books to have links to catholic resources that you don't have in your library. If I wanted some books that are a good price in Verbum or Orthodox packages, does it actually affect links in my existing books?
