LOGOS stopped working!

Why has my desktop version of LOGOS suddenly stopped working?

It only shows files as 'Faithlife' ebooks … no LOGOS features; no standard displays; LOGOS pro features not working!!!

Rebooting, re-downloading, nothing works.

And there is more than enough memory on my MacPRO which is an M-Series version.

It just keeps going back to 'Faithlife - ebooks'!!!

(1) Is this only my issue?

(2) Has LOGOS crashed?

(3) Why dies it not work offline also as all my purchases were downloaded?

Tony.

This sounds like you might have the mobile version installed - can you post a screenshot showing what you see when you start Logos?

    That is correct, Graham.

The software just refused to accept the desktop version.
I shut off all Bluetooth connections on all my devices.
    Then rebooted my laptop.
Downloaded the LOGOS App all over again.
    That also failed.

After accepting each time that I repeated the process, I could only observe a 'Faithlife' ebook screen! See attachment.

Next I attempted to use an old LOGOS app, downloaded in 2020.
That failed. It mentioned that LOGOS was not compatible with the latest software on the MacPro.

Finally I prayed🙂 and download, once again, the Logos app.
    This time it worked!

    And that was a relief!

    But this raises questions:

    (1) Why did this issue occur on the MacPro in the first place ?

    (2) How can this be prevented from recurring in future?

    (3) Is there a quick work-around should this recur … to enable me to work off-line temporarily … while LOGOS attempts a fix?

    (4) Why could I not even use LOGOS … offline … as a desktop version with files already downloaded on the MacPro?

Anyway, Graham, thanks for your correct diagnosis and quick response.

I was in no little panic on account of losing LIGOS facilities which I have been one rather dependent upon.
That too is not good for me. It left me thinking if I should explore alternatives … which I would not prefer to do.

I wish that the questions that I've put up get addressed.

    Blessings,

    In Christ Jesus,

    Tony.
