If this is the reason I must pay for a Logos Pro sub to get facelifts of existing features instead of making the existing features more productive, then I will really consider canceling my sub and look for another Bible Program.
Different users will have different opinions as to what is an enhancement, what is simply a facelift, what is a new bug in their workflow … You need to go through the release notes and decide for yourself what you personally are getting for your money … enhancement to features you will never use are no benefit to you. After going through the release notes, you'll have the information needed to decide if you should or should not cancel your subscription.
Other Bible programs aren’t really that great.
Hi again, @Lukas
Are there specific features that you're disappointed with?
And what about the new features? Smart Search is pretty impressive, I feel.
@Richard Wardman on Mobile for example, the new update has brought a change in the reading plan session headings. For me this does nothing to improve reading plan for better use. The second thing is the link popup, now don’t get me wrong I really like the new look, but again how it look brings no improvement to how it works. For example on the links, on the Bible the cross references links has from time to time multiple Scripture references, and when you want to see them you must press on it and it opens and shows you there are 2 or 3 or 4. And to read them you press on one and then if you want to read the next one you must press any place on screen and then again on the link to open it and then press on the second reference and so forth. So to read these ref there is a lot of pressing. I am sure there is another way of doing this.
Can I reorder books in a collection that I created manually (no rules)? Various AI agents tell me to drag and drop to do it, or to rename the resources in the collection with a numerical prefix. Neither suggestion is available. Would it help if I added the books in the order that I want to see them in the collection? Thanks
I am having trouble getting this to work. Run a search to create a passage list, then search that passage list. I need the procedure for this please.
Thank you for the instructions on how to install Word Search on a new computer. I followed those instructions, but how do I start Word Search after the three sets of files are copied? As others have noted, though I have tried Logos, I still prefer Word Search. I started using it when it was Thompson Chain-Reference Bible.…
I just dont want to use AI. Is there a setting to turn this off?
I regularly set up layouts on my iPad and my Mac. Often I have 30+ resources listed when I am working on a particular topic. I read things on the tablet, and later do my research-writing on my Mac. Here is my question: without manually having to check whether I have the same resources on both layouts, is there a simple way…
