Some reading plans and search functions not working on Verbum.

Hi, all!

I hope this is the right place to ask this.

I have Verbum with the 2025 Platinum Library.

Some aspects of the search function don't seem to work for me.

For instance, if I search for a topic, I get results (as shown above), but if I use the search templates, (for instance, the "Person speaks about something" template), I don't get results:

And when I use certain templates (e.g., the "One person asks another person a question" template), I get an error message saying "Unknown keyword."

Also, when I try to generate a custom reading plan for a book, the process moves to the first stage:

… but if I click on "Generate a reading plan," I'm not able to proceed further, and I am only shown the one preset Bible reading plan I experimented with when I first installed Verbum:

I searched for possible issues on the forum, and based on that, I tried the "rebuild index" command and let it run overnight, but the problems still persist.

What do I do now? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This part looks exactly like it's supposed to. The "Generated" reading plan will construct a reading plan based on the parameters you specify. Click on the fields in blue text to change the parameters, then hit the start button to generate the plan.

If you are looking for alternate plans with some particular focus, then you will want to choose the "predefined" option at the first screen.

The question and addressee searches require that you own the datasets that power those features. For this you will need to purchase a subscription: https://verbum.com/configure/subscriptions

Thank you very much for your reply, Andrew Batishko! It clears up matters.

As a suggestion to the Logos/Verbum devs, it would probably be less confusing if the GUI had an indicator that specific search functions were available only to subscription holders.
