Logos Program Not Opening/Loading

I've had Logos since 2010 with no problems. I opened it a few weeks ago for a study, and it must have performed an update as it says it is v42.1 (May 2025). Today, I tried to open the program, the blue screen appeared on my screen, and then it disappeared and nothing happened. I attempted restarting the desktop and then reopening the program to no avail. I saw someone else experiencing a similar problem, pressed Control while opening the program, signed in, and then the same thing happened - the blue Logos screen went away and the program didn't open. Any help in providing a resolution would be much appreciated. Thank yoU!

How do I remove popular highlights.
I want to eliminate the dotted line showing what other people highlight. It is distraction and serves no purpose for me. If I want or need a passage highlighted, I'll do it myself. All the directions and help I see in Logos is not current to Logos Max. The instructions are not even found on Max. So how do I do this?
