This issue only pertains to notes that are long enough to have a scroll bar because they are not visible all at once. When typing at the bottom of a long note, certain actions trigger the note to scroll to the top, and then back down to where you are typing, without any intervention. Needless to say, this is very distracting!
The things which trigger this momentary scrolling to the beginning of the note and back are:
- Typing three periods which automatically turn into an ellipsis (this seems to cause it to scroll every time), and
- Backspacing (though this sometimes does not trigger a scroll, but usually does)
