Keeping the features after 2 years of subscription

Hello,

It is my understanding that if I stay subscribed for 24 months on a row, I will be able to keep all the features of my current plan, excluding AI and cloud-based features.

I have a Max subscription ongoing since 6 months ago, with an Academic discount. Does this mean that in 18 months, I will have the same features (excluding AI and cloud-based features, and subscription books) without having to pay a monthly subscription?

However, the FAQ page says :

What is a Legacy Fallback License?
A Legacy Fallback License allows you to keep offline features when you cancel your subscription after 24 consecutive months. Instead of falling back to a free or previous version* of Logos, you'll keep features from your subscription tier that don't rely on the cloud or AI.
Who is eligible for the Legacy Fallback License?
If you’ve ever purchased a Logos 10 or earlier base package, you are eligible to earn the Legacy Fallback License after subscribing for 24 consecutive months.

I bought a Verbum 8 Starter Legacy Library 6 months ago, does this count as a Logos 10 or earlier base package so that I stay eligible to this offer?

You can pay one year at a time. You don’t have to pay for the 2 years in advance. If I’m wrong, someone needs to correct me and communicate more clearly. But 2 years is 2 years whether you pay one at a time or two in advance.

@DAL thanks for your answer! Do you think this also applies to a monthly payment during 24 months? Or does it have to be 1 or 2 years upfront?

You probably need an official Logos response but a Legacy Library isn't a base package, it's just the books. I'd suggest you contact Customer Service to ask them to clarify the position.

I don’t think subscriptions have a payment plan option, but again, I could be wrong.

@DAL The "payment plan" option is simply to pay monthly. Costs a bit more, but gives the convenience of paying as you go.

That FAQ wording is new (at least since last year). Used to be L10, I think. And doesn't speak to features.
