We have some individuals who are basically deaf or very hard of hearing. Recently I was part of a seminar where the presenter was using his laptop to present a Powerpoint presentation. Everything he said was being transcribed live at the bottom of the front screen. If Proclaim had the ability to apply closed captioning to the bottom service items, this would be a huge blessing to those in our community who are deaf or hard of hearing. Between announcements, meditations, sermons, and prayers, there is a significant percentage of the service that they miss out on. It would need to be a feature that could be applied or removed since it would not be needed during songs.
