How can I copy the references of selected verses?

In Accordance I can simply select a block of the Bible and copy the references. This just copies the references and then I can simply paste it into a new tab and see my verses.

I already know that it is sort of complicated to see multiple verses in Logos, and I can work around that. But how do I just copy the verses?? I finally created a passage list, but even from there I don't seem to be able to do it. I can open the passage list, or export it, but how do I just simply add it to my clipboard so I can paste it anywhere?

Well, convoluted, but in your Passage List, select Compact. Then copy.

Or I misunderstood.

Hi @DMB, I had actually gotten to the compact view before I posted, but I still can't figure it out. :/ I tried just doing COMMAND A to copy it, but nothing happened. The options at the top seem to be Add, Sort, Merge, or Open All, and that is it. :/ I then tried clicking on the 3 dots but I don't see it there either.

@Kristin Do you mean the references of the highlighted text or references in the highlighted text? The latter I can do with non-Biblical text but not with Bibles where the references are in footnotes rather than in the text. For the former:

Select the text
Right click
Select selection on the left
Select Save as Passage List on the right (below the line of icons)

Hi @MJ. Smith, when you were wondering if I mean "the references of the highlighted text or references in the highlighted text" I am not sure what the difference is between the two. I can clarify that all I am trying to do is copy a string of verse references.

For example, let's say I am looking up all the verses where a specific lemma occurs, and there are 15 verses. I would like to do COMMAND A on a Mac to select all and copy the references and then paste them wherever, like an email even or something.

In Accordance I would just select the verses and then copy as references and it copies the references to my clipboard and I can paste them wherever. In Logos I appear to need to add all the verses to a passage list, and then go to compact, and THEN click the three dots to select all, and THEN click copy, but even when I do the way it "copies" is a literal joke. It copied all the verses stacked on top of each other instead of separated by commas, making it literally impossible to paste anywhere.

So to be clear, I need to copy references in a functional manner, so that the copied references are able to be used for anything.

So it should have pasted:
Josh 1:4, Lev 4:2, Jn 1:1

Instead of:
Josh 1:4
Lev 4:2
Jn 1:1
