On Desktop, there is something called multiple resource view. This allows a user to specify other books (beyond the primary book) they would like displayed in a separate tab that always follows the main (and vice versa). This enables me to have an English bible, and then using multiple resource view, add on the NA28 and the LXX. If I open the English bible to the OT, my other pane automatically shows the LXX. If I flip to the NT, I see my NA28. It’s also useful for any commentary or other book which is split into multiple volumes and is tagged.
There is currently no analog to this on Mobile that I am aware of. While we do have side by side (or top and bottom panes), and they do support flexible linking, that feature does not do what MRV does. For instance, the second pane can only have one resource loaded at a time. If you want either NA28 or MT to follow your English bible, there is no way to do that on Mobile. To approximate this, you would need to build a 3 column view, one of which would always be empty and waste a lot of screen space.
I would really like to see this feature make its way to the mobile platforms. As it is, I just build multiple tab sets in the mobile apps. But that creates clutter and extra work.
