how do i advance the calendar devotional to the next date?
It should advance with the calendar date, or do you mean something else?
I have the calendar devotional in a layout and I want to advance the date in layout before updating layout. I think I remember that in the input box for calendar devotional; you could hit a shortcut key(s) to have it advance a day.
If you start with the Daily Devotional QuickStart Layout and modify it to meet your needs, the calendar devotional will automatically track to the correct date

On the desktop app, I cannot figure out how to have the text scroll smoothly. I have an iPad running iPadOS 16.7.10 (nearly four years old) and it can scroll through the text smoothly, whether it's a Bible or a resource.
