Thanks Chuck, I always appreciate seeing other people's workflows. I especially like your cross-reference system and have implemented my own.

Boox tablets are also a win in my book. I have the larger model but I like the size of your mini. How much does it weigh compared to a Kindle Paperwhite, if you know?

@Morgan , The Kindle Paperweight is 211g and the Boox Go 7 is 195g. So the Boox is about 16 grams lighter. That's only about 8% lighter, so I doubt you would even notice.

The practical answer is that they are both very lightweight. Since the average paperback book weighs 250g, they feel more comfortable for long periods of time and clicking a button to scroll is much easier than turning pages. I think it just comes down to what people prefer.
