I am wondering what it means legacy edition Logos does not sale, Logos 10 gold etc.
Do we have to purchase subscriptions now?
John Duran
No, you don't need to purchase a subscription.
You can, for various good reasons. But Logos offers the 'legacy' version for those of us who don't need the newest.
It's their guarantee of a free app 'forever' (as they call it). And they update it constantly. Free.
You don’t have to subscribe to have access to your books and a fully functioning software, but you can for some new features and continuous updates. ‘Legacy’ just means the free, non‑subscription Logos app that Faithlife keeps updating. You can still buy books and packages outright (like Logos 10/Gold, etc.), and you can also choose a subscription if you want extra features or content. Legacy is Logos’ way of guaranteeing a free, always‑updated app without requiring a subscription.
I purchased Logos 9 Academic Professional back in 2020. I then purchased the Logos 10 Full Feature Upgrade in 2023. Does the “Legacy Edition” still have all resources and features that I paid for? What is going on?
I would like to say my updates to my Logos 9 legacy 10 features are great!! I Have learned so much and at a faster pace than my fellow brothers who do not have this program.
I do wish they had the same program/App.
I will be purchasing some products books soon. 😁
Yes, everything you have purchased in the past, you still have access to. While you won't have access to some new features that were released after Logos 10, you will always get free basic updates and occasionally even improvements.
Thanks!

How would I share a layout that I created with another Logos user?
Dear Folk, I do not believe the above resource (in the question title) is in Logos nor in the SDA Faithlife Forum Group under files for personal books. Have I missed it, or is there any chance we could get it in Logos or in Group files as a personal book? Seems to be a very valuable resource. Thanks, Mike
Does the Factbook have a Bible book outline section? So often I want to get an outline overview of a Bible book that I am studying. It would be a really nice feature if one is available.
