I am thinking of inviting interested people to a seminar on using Logos. The plan is to start the seminar by giving every attendee an installation USB drive. There is no internet connection available.
Is this possible?
Thx
Stephen
I seem to remember we used to be able to order a thumb drive from Logos that contained setup materials but I can't see it on the store now.
But I don't think this will work as, even if you could install the software, the first time someone tries to log in the software needs to make a connection to Logos servers - so lack of Internet makes this non viable I believe.
Nothing wrong with your memory. Many years ago I downloaded a SETUP file and used it to install Logos on a church computer where there was no internet connection. I used my name and password to install.
I might try using a phone as a hotspot and see how long it takes.
Good to hear from you again, Graham.
I think that you could put the installer files on a flash drive, but the challenge will be an Internet connection that is required when one first installs Logos to verify their account. Once the account is verified, the program can run offline. However, you will only be to access resources downloaded to the computer and any tools dependent on the Internet will not work.

I'm looking for commentary that breaks scripture down with points. For instance, Psalm 23 may a have point for verses 1-2, 3-4, 5-6. Thanks, God bless

In Factbook’s “Questions to Ask” section, are AI credits charged every time I open the same question? For example, I open a suggested question in Factbook, get the answer, and then exit Logos with Factbook still open. When I reopen Logos, Factbook is still open, but the previous answer to that question is gone. If I tap…
I see that Logos will be releasing this title soon. However the product page does not provide a preview and also states that the Logos book does not include the text of the CSB. I have the CSB in Logos already, that’s not an issue, my question is how has Logos formatted the book, especially given the contextual structure…
