Hello,
I want to set up Logos on my wife's computer to where she can operate independently of my configurations. Does anybody have a suggestion as to how this can happen?
It would be to create a new account for her, the downside is that she would not have access to the resources on your account.
Frank,
So, what I hear you say is that my wife will "have to" purchase a separate account?
For fully distinct and separate configurations - yes. While the company has been lenient through the years when it comes to the enforcement of the license that is purchased (which is to the individual), two separate accounts would be the "legal" way to accomplish what it seems you would like to do.
That said, in well over twenty years as a user, I've not heard of an instance that the company has "gone after"/"penalized" a user for allowing their spouse in the same household to benefit from the application as well. That could be achieved via customized layouts.
Adding to Frank, the only shared-account limiter from old-Faithlife (for spouses) was that both couldn't be professionals; church, seminary, etc).
But the user agreement was never actually qualified from single-user.
Thank you, Frank and DMB. I will need to dive into how to set up her individualized account. On the other hand, is there a way that she could use, as you mentioned, Frank, her layouts while I use different layouts?
I'm not Frank, but it's easy enough to keep independent layouts, notebooks, highlighters.
Where you'll start conflicting, is in the library (priorities, etc), and the tools/AI. Most couples are usually one-really-excited, one-useful-app. 2 accounts might be a bit $$ but easier to go forward.
This - exactly! Depending on the level of use, independent layouts, etc could work - but as @DMB stated, the conflict can arise in areas of use beyond a preferred layout.

Is there a way to filter my library by a particular collection on the iPad? I want to create a collection of books I've tagged to read and quickly generate my"reading list" on my iPad. Thanks!
