Dear Support:
I am disappointed with the current functionality of Sermon Builder AI and want to offer a suggestion for improvement. Unlike other AI programs, Sermon Builder does not let users use their own biblical study material as the foundation for sermon creation.
There are two essential steps in building a sermon:
- Study the biblical text deeply—exploring context, original languages, authorial intent, historical setting, and how the audience would have understood the message.
- Use that study material as the basis for crafting the sermon.
Unfortunately, Sermon Builder AI falls short in step two. There is no effective way to import or utilize your own study notes or research when asking the AI to generate a sermon. I have tried placing my study material in various places—the DESCRIPTION and NOTES fields in the INFO tab, and even the SERMON THEME in the AI window—but the generated sermons consistently ignore my research and fail to reflect the depth of my study.
In contrast, other AI programs (such as Perplexity, Copilot, or ChatGPT) allow users to build sermons directly from their study material, resulting in significantly better and more personalized sermons.
Please address this core limitation in Sermon Builder AI. I would much prefer to use Sermon Builder for sermon generation if it would let me incorporate my own study and research into the process.
Thank you,
Dale Moreau
