I was checking to see if the original language name was given as an alternative name in order to find books referenced by their original name in footnotes/bibliographies … and use the translation feature when appropriate. I noticed two oddities in Bibles:
- Why isn't the term Rabbinic Bible given as an alternative … or does it apply only to the commentary portion?
- Why does The Passion Translation have an alternative name the same as its title … and why is Bible. English. used to prefix several alternative names. It causes confusion and is not in any meaningful way part of an alternative title. They are subsets not titles.
