Upgrading to new IPAD. Should I get the IPAD Air or the IPAD Pro

I'm updating from my old IPAD to a more recent IPAD. I'm deciding between the IPAD Air and the IPAD Pro. I'd be interested in recommendations. Also I'd seen somewhere that the Desktop version of LOGOS can be installed on the IPAD Pro. I spoke with LOGOS support team and they would only indicate that the OS version needed to be OS 16.4 or higher. The LOGOS support team indicated only that the Desktop version of LOGOS was not designed for mobile devices.

Depends on a number of things, but most particularly your budget. I have a 13" M4 iPad Pro, so it's the largest and thinnest (!) iPad, and I absolutely love it. (There's a new Pro getting released imminently that will have a more efficient chip and 12Gb ram instead of 8.) Why Pro over Air? For me, these reasons. The Pro's screen is super bright, good enough for outdoors, a dual-layer OLED (1600 nits vs 600 on the Air). It can run at 120Hz, so very smooth scrolling… or down to preserve battery life. I listen to music constantly, and the Pro has four speakers instead of two (though I'm usually on headphones.) The Pro actually weighs less than the AIR, and is thinner, which means you can use it with one hand.

This is not the case, the iPad Pro only supports the mobile version of the app.

I agree with both of your comments. I too have an M4 Pro 11 inch. I previously had the 13 inch and being that I use it for work every day it was just to big. I went with the smaller one this time and for ease of use, I love it. And thankfully I still have my 13 that I use to read and such while in my home office.

In regards to Graham’s comment, I agree if they would make the mobile app version more in line with a lot of the apps now available it would be 100% worth it. However, you have to decide your use cases. I use my desktop for my main study and then the mobile app when I am on the go. Or I’ll use it when I’m reading a book to highlight different things, or to even have it read to me. You can also use it via the Safari browser and that works ok. Both ways have there own limitations.
