Three issues having to do with selection of text in Android.
First, after a highlight is applied, the selection becomes displaced from the text until scrolling refreshes the display and the selection snaps back to the text. See video.
(Note: iOS simply removes the selection. I much prefer retaining the selection, as in Android. Please consider changing iOS to be consistent!)
Second, I noticed that when you select text and then scroll, the selection is applied cyclically as new text comes into view. This is hard to explain but a picture/video is with 1000 words! Also this is not a big deal but thought you might want to know.
Third, there is no option to select a hyperlinked Bible text, as there is in iOS:
