First to say I’m a baby at this. And I’m British, so please forgive my spelling.
I’ve been able to scan about a quarter of my actual books and they added themselves to my library. A good number failed, for which I was offered alternatives, and sometimes top of the list would be the actual book! Same cover, presumably same edition therefore. Fair enough if a later one, but why wasn’t my scan recognised?
But all irrelevant, because when I go to my library and choose, let’s say, a successful scan. I see the book info, but then it says the book isn’t available to purchase on Logos. Yet it’s digitised, because it lets me “look inside”. So you do have it, Logos, and I’ve proved I have it. What’s the problem?
Am I expecting too much to be allowed to read it digitally (that’s not a snide question - is that not on offer?) or is it just the search engines which can ‘read’ the book, as it says you give a ref to find the result in the actual book. But no, I can’t read the whole book online. That’s a pity if so, and the icons now uselessly clog up my library while I search for something I can read. I must find out how to delete them, after spending the whole morning scanning the sheep from the goats, so to speak. I even rearranged my shelves! It’s things I don’t know I don’t know, as usual. 🙃. Thank you
