Hello, dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
I am grateful to share that I have recently published two concise Bible dictionaries:
“Hebrew–English–Chinese Dictionary for Old Testament” and
“Greek–English–Chinese–Hebrew Dictionary for New Testament”.
These volumes are designed as handy tools to assist readers in studying and understanding the Bible in its original languages. Each entry includes English and Chinese translations—either Traditional or Simplified—to help Chinese Christians more easily grasp and memorize biblical terms, as well as recognize related or similar-looking words.
If you are interested in exploring the content, you may preview the first 20 pages of each eBook for free on Amazon.com, where you can also order either the printed or digital editions.
To ensure accuracy, I have based the definitions on the well-known Strong’s Concordance numbering system, which supports both lexical meanings and derived forms. In addition, after carefully reading through the Four Gospels and Psalms, I decided to include those transformed words that appear in the original texts due to grammatical variations. This allows readers to trace and understand how words change across contexts—an aid that will greatly enhance recognition of similar grammatical derivatives throughout the Bible.
Finally, an English word index and several useful appendices have been added for readers’ convenience, providing quick reference and additional insights.
Peace (שָׁלוֹם , εἰρήνη) be with you always. C.K. Eugene Lin
