Automatically open book from commentary set?

I have a couple Bibles open in the desktop app that are linked together. If am looking at a Matthew passage and I have the book for Matthew open from the (NIC) commentary set, I can add it to the same link group and it will scroll with the Bible text. (However, the fact that I linked to that group it is forgotten if I have to reopen it.)

If I click on search results and jump my linked Bibles to a new book and passage, is there a way for the applicable book from the commentary set to open and be/stay linked to the same link group as the Bibles are in? In my mind, I just want a window with the pertinent NIC commentary book open all the time.

If I understand what you are asking, this should work at the moment.

I had the layout shown below

when I clicked the search result, the NIV was updated and the ESV was updated and the relevant NIC volume was opened to the correct place

Are you not seeing this or did you mean something different?

I'm guessing the Parallel View would solve it. On the main Bible, select Parallel in the resource menu, and then select the desired commentary series.

Each time you open that Bible, the commentary also opens.

My mistake. It works the same way for me. It seems my problem is solved if I just never close my commentary book. I had only noticed that it forgot that the book was in any link set when I closed it. Thanks!
