I think I know but am looking for confirmation
it’s the red exclamation mark. Does that mean sync has failed or sync is unavailable?
Thanks!
Yes, it means sync has sunk (failed).
On the mobile, not sure.
What preceded your example? ios or Android?
thanks for responding
I am having difficulty understanding your questions. are you using translation software?
The picture is from an iPhone 16. So it is iOS 26.1
Thank you. If I may follow up here, how do I correct this? I am online for sure. And it was syncing just a few minutes before getting this symbol repeatedly.
Sometimes this type of issue can be resolved by force-stopping and restarting the app. That's worth a try.
If that doesn't resolve it, the indicator can often indicate a sync issue with a recently created / updated document.
Between the time it was working and the time you started seeing this indicator, did you create / modify any of your documents - either on your iPhone or desktop / laptop?
@Brad Pearson I'm not sure how to fix it. It started happening to a laptop I had this past year and I couldn't fix it without a re-install (which is a time-consuming pain).
On mobile, I sometimes get it when on a slow- or low-bandwidth internet connection…it goes away when I get back on a faster connection.

I've checked the beginning of the document, and the end of it, and the end of the day's story itself, but there seems to be nothing. Anyone have…
This is a screenshot of a Notebook. Is there a way to make the commentary author's name viewable? You really have to dig to find the author.
